Welcome to Kindergarten!
It is your first year at Rolling Hills and I hope that you are ready and excited for fun and learning. My goal is to help you gain as much knowledge as possible while creating memories that you will remember your whole life. I look forward to meeting you all and getting to know every single one of you.
About Mrs. Korn
The first time I knew I wanted to teach, was in the third grade. From then on, I did things in elementary school, high school and college to help me reach that goal. I graduated in 2009 from Boise State University with a degree in Elementary Education, completing my student teaching at Rolling Hills. After graduation, I married my wonderful husband and middle school friend, Paul Korn. In 2012, we joined the Peace Corps and moved to Ethiopia, Africa. For 5 months, we lived amongst the locals and taught all ages of students. On August 29, 2014, we welcomed our daughter, Neeka Rene, into our family! AND on June 9, 2017, Landon William joined the Korn clan. They have definitely completed our family! For fun, I enjoy traveling the world experiencing different food and cultures, hiking and camping in the beautiful Idaho mountains, playing volleyball and softball and enjoying a good movie at our home in Meridian. This is my fifth year teaching kindergarten. I also coordinate the Title I program. I feel so blessed to have this opportunity to once again work at Rolling Hills. I am confident, that we will work together and create a great year for all of us!
