Beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Come find more about the 2016-2017 school year at Rolling Hills, your child’s classroom, and opportunities for parent involvement. Teachers will present their classroom schedules, rules, expectations, volunteer opportunities, and answer questions you may have. In the Café, Mr. Pratt will present information about schoolwide family expectations and opportunities at Rolling Hills. To facilitate parents with children in multiple classrooms, each presentation will be repeated every 1/2 hour between 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. The Parent Faculty Association (PFA), our Athletic Director, and other school wide representatives will be present during the evening. This evening is intended for adults, please make childcare arrangements, if possible.
RHPCS Volunteer Training with Mr. Pratt at 6:30 p.m. in the Café Our school relies on our many wonderful volunteers that contribute their time and talents.  Through volunteer efforts, students benefit in many areas from individual assistance to classroom celebrations and school-wide activities.  In order to insure consistency for all adults volunteering in the school, we provide a basic level of training and orientation regarding school and classroom rules, policies, and procedures.  These guidelines will be in effect for volunteers throughout the 2016-2017 school year. Annual volunteer training is mandatory prior to volunteering in the classroom or school.  Volunteers need only attend 1 of the offered training / orientation session each year.  Once you have attended a training/ orientation you are certified as a volunteer for the entire year.
Title 1 Informational Meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the Café Rolling Hills Public Charter School (RHPCS) has the privilege of being a Title 1 School, which means we receive additional funding through the Federal Title 1 program designed to help ensure that all children have the opportunity to obtain a high-quality education.  Come learn more about Title 1 and how it will benefit your student(s), ask questions and give feedback.  For more information, see the Title 1 Parent Letter attached with this email and recently sent home with your student.
